Mel and all,

You've got that right! Lost sensei Gary Guy to heart attack and beloved Mary
mother-in-law to cancer, lost my naive optimism that since the end of the Cold War,
nothing Really Bad was lurking out there.

On the other hand, I lost my lung infection of 5 years and find I can work hard for
10 hours straight, building Arkysanto and the Gary V. Guy Memorial Center for Clay
Studies in the Verde Valley of AZ. Health - you don't know what you got 'til it's
gone - and then you get health back an feel reborn at age 60. A month of hard work
and I now weigh what I did when I was 45.

Pass the turkey!
