Just a reminder that there will be an open meeting for anyone interested
in the possibility of forming a co-op to purchase and operate Creative
ClayStudios in Alexandria, VA. Currently the studio occupies three
warehouse bays in an industrial park. The studio has a Bailey gas kiln
and a number of electric kilns, two slab rollers, and provides full and
part-time studio rental and a broad range of classes and workshops.
George Brown, the current owner, would like to sell the business, either
to a co-op or to any other qualified person interested in operating the
business.

The meeting will be held at the studio on Friday, November 16th at 7 pm
will give a chance to learn more about the business and to begin to help
formulate ideas and further questions.
If you would like directions to the meeting or have any very basic
questions, you may contact Jan McQueary off-list at jmcqueary@juno.com.
