Gee I finally have a use for those pantyhose I don't have to wear anymore!
What a relief! Hated to just toss 'em.

I do use a metal rib on the pot if the pot's big enough. It's just that
sometimes I trim and that's when I get the places I end up sanding a bit.

Also, I checked out Vince's article on www.digitalfire.com and his
suggestions in the archives. I'm going to try building up layers of my
"not too true" terra sig before polishing and see the results.

Had beautiful results with my sawdust fire or more correctly, my animal
bedding fire in a small garbage can. Got some beautiful maroons, flashes of
green, expanses of oranges and velvety subtle greys with a dramatic black
there and about. Love that Pottery Making Illustrated!
Kim in Spafford NY where crisp air is settling in and the snow of yesterday
is a reminder of what's to come. Guess I'd better get the mowing deck off
and the snow blower on the my little tractor.
