web access of clayart

~~~
What I want to know is, WHY this is true. Clayart is not affiliated
with
Yahoo, so why does Yahoo have Clayart on it?
~~~

Dunno who put it there, but someone chose to open a Yahoo group list
for the purpose of making Clayart web-accesible. It's not a *Yahoo*
per se function, if that's what you meant. So, either the moderator
or someone else involved with running Clayart set it up.

another search engine, Google, automatically indexes newsgroup archives and
presents them on the web in response to search queries. they bought up
Dejanews who developed the idea.

they don't need any help, or wait for an invitation - if the archive is
presented on the web - which it is - they will index it....
