This is the very recipe I sought and thanks
to all who sent
me others. Actually this is from June Perry, who searched
on Google. A few days earlier, Marianne Lombard, found it
by searching the Archives. Marianne also, at my request, sent
a lesson in searching the archives by subject.
Thanks to all the rest of you. Ababi, C. Burkhart and Alisa
Clausen and anyone else whom I forgot to mention.
You are all far more organized than I am to have
either a mailbox with glazes or the ability to search via
engines etc. I have a fair collection of whitish glazes now
to test.
I did test the above in a terribly slow test kiln to make
sure, but I actually recognized it when I saw the recipe.
Can you imagine what life was like before Clayart? Shall
I tell you? That would be a mighty long post.
Too bad I don't have many items to glaze. I am following
a physical therapist's directions to let a torn ligament in
wrist heal. So I am still overdoing the wrist movements, weighing
glaze, cleaning spray booth, making order of a terribly messy
work area. Time flies when I am in studio, even doing boring
chores. Wedging clay or forming on wheel may be in the (near, I hope)
future.
Regards to all. Bacia
