FYI, here is the current situation (Nov. 16) on rooms at KC (info from
reservation gal at Hyatt Regency Crown Centre KC):
There are still rooms available at the Westin, also a conference
site, at the NCECA rate ($120+13.1% quad, less for fewer). The Westin is
two blocks from the Hyatt and is connected underground. I am told that
NCECA execs will await full booking of rooms at the Westin before
contracting for another block at the Hyatt, etc. Meanwhile for seniors
among us (62+) the Hyatt rate for a quad is $139+13.1% (less for two,
three in a room).
Also, mel expects to have the Clayart Suite located at the Hyatt
and is negotiating now with those who will pay for the suite. when he has
the matter settled he will advise us Clayarters.
