Being new to this site I appologize if this gets misdirected. wondered if there was any references of potters discussing their kilns-adv. and disadv. of designs. I'm considering a wood fired ground hog/single chamber cross draft type kiln with side stoke holes in the back end to attain cone 10-11 throughout. would appreciate any comments on similar kilns, and be very interested in specific designs, other than the books of Olsen and such which I've been researching. Thanks. Richard Wright, lenoir NC
