Good Morning Everyone,
Mom and I have talked, and she has suggested that I look into getting a kiln
for use here at home. The reason that this has come up, is that projects
that she liked have not made it out of the school. The small bowls and jugs
did, only the large bowls and trays, did not, they were in the same glaze
kiln load, and are no where to be found at the school. No broken pieces or
anything. This has been a problem with other people who have taken classes
there also, from the church.
I would like to ask "What/Who is a good manufacture of a electric kiln ?,
What electric ought I be looking for, 120/220 ? What are the operation costs
normally for a firing ?, Can they be stored and fired outside, provided the
proper removable shed and weather cover ?, and any other questions/answers
that I do not know to ask ?"
Sincerely,
Bud Britt
