thanks to Susan Ford for her thoughtful response to my comments on the OU
ceramics studio;
briefly, in answer to her question below:
This term I am teaching one special projects class specifically devoted to
glaze formulation--because it was the right timing for some student
work/information.
Otherwise the glaze work is mixed in with (primarily) intermediate and
advanced level courses (althought this past term two of my beginning
students were involved--again, because of the needs and direction of their
own work).
I expect that if Susan and I continue this thread it should be off list, to
save the clutter--
Thanks to all who sent me comments.
Best, Jane

"This is good news. Obviously my experience was
such that it colored my opinion of the department.
You are kind. It was not innuendo it was a statement
of what had happened to me personally. I saw the
sneering in question. But, I'm willing to believe that it
was an isolated incident.
Do you have classes on forumlating glazes or is it
mixed in with the other classes? I'll go over to OU's
webpage and check out the clay classes offered."
