We just decided we're moving to Reno, hopefully by next summer. Are there
any potters guilds or groups in the Reno area? Or a potter who I can talk to
about this major climatic change I'm about to endure, and how it affects clay?
I've lived in Florida all my life (40 years) and have never been west of
the Mississippi. Nor have I ever lived up north.
Nope. No snow, no change of seasons. Nutten.
Hot? yeah. Muggy? yeah. Over it? yeah.
Wanna see mountains and learn to snow ski. OH YEAH! Gonna scare the crap
out of myself learning to drive in snow. Oh yeah.

Anyway, would someone way over there please e-mail this very excited gator
and give me some insight of the pottery community there?
