CRAFTS STUDIO TECHNICIAN II
COMMUNICATIONS, ARTS, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
Supports crafts marketing program in three areas: ceramics, jewelry, and
glass. Other duties include cleaning, maintenance, supervision, and
organization. Requires a BFA or equal experience in the field; familiarity
with a variety of materials including ceramics, metal, and/or glass;
mechanically inclined to perform basic maintenance on related machinery;
experience firing gas or electric kilns or be trainable to fire a variety of
kilns; and the ability to communicate clearly with students and faculty.
Available January 2002. Annual salary between $24,000 and $27,000 based on
