I did a test tile with this glaze and it came out a great color. I
glazed three medium platters with this glaze and the color was a dull
ugly beige black. There was one spot that came out with green color.
DId I not put it on thick enough? Is it worth refiring and trying to put
the glaze on much thicker? Thanks
Rachael

You are right, it must be a certain thickness to get the color you want. =
Had pieces that I rubbed back so I had both colors. Maybe you could =
reglaze.

I think you didn't get it on thick enough. I've tried refiring this glaze
after having the same results, but have had little luck.

Dear Rachel,
It was too thin. It is a dry glaze, so you would probably have luck in
reglazing them.
I paint it on with several layers to get it patina green.
Good luck, Alisa in Denmark
