I am just wondering... does anyone remember an old homeopathic Argerol..
my mother always used it for sore throats, you could get it from the
pharmasist but it wasn't a perscription med. it would clear up strep! we
had it dropped down our throats all the time.. the reason i am asking is a
pharmasist told me that it had silver nitrate in it....?????

I'm not familiar with Argerol, but silver nitrate solution is put
into the eyes of newborns to prevent their contracting syphilis
during the birth process---should mom be infected.
