All these posts about plastic gas lines....
We have a nasty little critter here in California that goes by the name of
the Pocket Gopher. It lives underground and it likes to gnaw on plastic gas
pipes. It has great equipment in the tooth department. (Also eats the roots
off of your best and most expensive bulbs and plants.)
Our local gas company uses a bright orange plastic pipe that has some sort
of awful tasting additive in it that is said to repel the critters.
