Dear lajos

I am defiantly behind the times I presumed you would be threading
galvanized pipe . its twelve years since I threaded a pipe. My kiln is 40
cubic foot in side and 100 yards from the tank so it needs a lot of gas
pipe.

lots of people have the idea that I live in america because I use
american spellings.

In Ireland the authorities are very strict and you can do your own work
but they have to test it and I expect your fire insurance company may have
some obscure small print in the insurance contract that also makes the
pressure check a necessity - so cheque that .

Are you saying that they now use plastic pipes from the tank or main gas
line sounds a lot cheaper and easier.
