PC-7 is my favorite epoxy! The Home Depot-type megastores
around here don't carry it or any acceptable equivalent,
but True Value Hardware (all are locally owned stores)
special-orders it for me. It arrives within a few days
and the cost is reasonable.

I agree whole heartedly, hence my tongue in cheek changing of Depot to
Despot.
We had a great old hardware store two blocks away. I'm told it's been
there for the better part of the past 35 years. I always liked going in just
to look around. Several of the employees had been there since day one and
could answer practically any question. Then it was taken over by a yup, who
fired all of his senior help and hired a bunch of low wage kids to take
their place. So much for the great old hardware store. Unfortunately I find
myself going to the Despot these days more frequentely than not.
