Ceramic workshop with Malcolm Davis
'Sets, Not Series'

This three-session Master Class will focus on the making and grouping of =
functional pots into sets or groupings. Many potters work in series, =
making a lot of the same form at the same time. This class, however will =
explore ways in which pots might be grouped together to present one =
another, working better together than alone. The class time will be used =
to discuss the projects and possibly do some collaborative work. =20
Malcolm Davis has been a full-time studio potter since 1981 and has =
maintained his studio atop a montan in West Virginia since 1985. He works =
exclusively with porcelain to create pots with which to celebrate the =
rituals of everyday life.
he is the recipient of numerous awards and his work is included in several =
museum collections. he is widely published and has done many workshops =
throughout the U.S.
