Do any of you use colored decals on your work. If so where can I get some
made. The kind that after firing they are like the stuff was china painted.

Greetings Bob-
The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators may be helpful.
http://www.sgcd.org/members.html
Members include small shops and state of the art production with prototype, custom
small runs, and companies running tons per day of printed products. I attended
their conference some years ago and was amazed.
The "china painting" blends of subtle colors are complex and may not be done as
well by the basic 4 color process. Several companies in SGCD back east do small
runs with litho and screenprinting for commemorative production with very
impressive reproduction of the original art. Shop price and time. A Tulsa
screenprinting company advertises ceramic printing but when I called he said they
"could" do ceramic printing but they didn't like to.
Come to Tulsa for a visit and printing lesson this Friday or next Monday. It is a
low tech operation with a vacuum table I made and ink either a student or I made.
We will be printing Monday (at 3:00,1/7) with a few students (after school because
of the vapors). This Friday (1/40, I may print so we will have decals on Monday
since there are only 3 working days left in class. Call if you want to print on
Friday. Bring a screen with an image in it and we will print it too. In Oklahoma
City there are plenty of places that will make a screen for you. If you need info
for your screen, call me: 918.665.2871.
