use your own work as a test

David,

One way that I don't cross my fingers (I have known the feeling) is to use
my work to make sure it works. I have also poured hot water into teapots,
bowls, baked, microwave, etc. Can't let work go out that might injure or
disappoint someone. I am very curious about Ron Roys testing and I think I
will test my work according to his methods. It would be nice to see if my
glazes stand up to his methods.
