I'm Caroline. I searched this archive, the glaze archives... Did not find
that shino. Is it know by another name?

Hello Caroline,
Malcolm's shino that he uses on porcelain, is rusty orange with a lot
of carbon trapping. On stoneware it will be very dark, sometimes
lustres a goldy color

Nep. Sye 40.9
EPk l8.2
Soda Ash 17.3
OM 4 13.8
Soda Spar 9,8

plus 6 % redart


Another to try (good on stoneware, not as much carbon trapping as M.D.)

Penn.State shino

Soda Ash 7.8
Om 4 4.9
EPK 9.7
Spodumene 29.0
Soda Spar 34.0
Nep.Sye 14.6
