thanks for taking the time to put your mod website together, the
pics/description were immensely helpful. i admire your ingenuity and
tenacity, i'm sure it was very scary.
funny you mention the skutt folks, i asked them about it and although
extremely nice and helpful, laughed added insulation off and said if it
was necessary, they'd be doing it.
i'm going to try the second lid first (i've got a new 1227)and see what
kind of difference that makes, i don't have a controller/pyrometer so no
hard numbers to report.
