Our tv repair shop refused to touch it, for Health and Safety
Reason.....that will be the last time I use them again.
Rang my washing machine repair man who came and checked the circuit and then
identified the resistor which was faulty (refused to take any money), got
that for 30p from a electronics store, found another TV repair shops who
didn't have any objections to soldering the missing piece on, refused to
charge me, wanted a pot so this morning I will be off to give them one of my
pots.......wheel works perfectly, restored my faith in human nature.....
Bobs advice did the trick, would have cost me quite a bit to send the part
to the manufacturers as they suggested.
long live Clayart.
