upcoming workshops

Is there a place on the web that lists upcoming
workshops? I need more time for planning a
trip to some of these workshops (planning time
off from my other job I need at least 8 to
12 weeks advance notice) and the ones
that are posted on clayart are usually posted
on too short of a notice. Can anyone help?

Thanks

you can always try a good search, use Ceramic Workshops as the search, you
should get a good listing of places to check out all over!
I personally have good luck with www.google.com

For those of you in the area, I believe Pete Pinnell (sp?) is doing a
workshop at The Depot very soon. I will sift through my mess to find the
exact info if anyone is interested.

Thank you.

Diane, Check out the april issue of Ceramics Monthly. They list all the up
coming summer workshops. Also join your local potters association. Our guild
hosts 2-3 workshops in our area each year. Vicki

I'm a newbie on the list and very much more 'wannabe' than 'potter'. My
passion far exceeds my knowledge and experience. Anyway, I was interested in
the mention of potters associations. I am aware of several potters in our
area, but not of anything organized. Of course, we aren't in a metro area
with a large population either. I was interested in how some of you have
gone about organizing and taking part in your associations.

And I also wanted to add how glad I am that I found this list. Lots of
information and ideas and I don't feel that I have to apologize for being a
novice.

Thanks.
