Hi, Bonnie...

How neat! So Peter's still around?? Pardon me if I have a nostalgic
moment...years and years ago when my husband was a young(ish) virtually
homeless jazz musician (before we met), he was friends with Voulkos, out in
California. The wondrous potter offered Harris, then known as Sleepy
Johnson, one of his pots as a gift...because he had noplace to put it,
Harris turned it down. Siiiiigh...

Must have been close to 40 years ago now...I've often thought about that
pot...
