You can see a photo of a Kitaoji Rosanjin plate (can be made with the plate
instructions I've posted here.) It is from the Alfred collection:

Rosanjin didn't like Yanagi's Mingei (that's okay, see Hamada's quote
below), but I appreciate Rosanjin's work. I especially admire his attention to
how food is served on pottery. He was also a friend of an inspiration of
mine, Isamu Noguchi. See the Rosanjin photo taken by Noguchi:

Noguchi was also friends with Alexander Calder (Noguchi ran the
phonograph for Calder, for his toy circus he ran in Paris) , who is another
