Hey Roger:

For the folks who don't know what OPA Showcase means, it's Oregon Potter's
Assoc. and every May we put on a gig in Portland Oregon called Ceramic
Showcase. There's a website if you wanna check it out www.ceramicshowcase.com

Man, I wish I'd been at the show grossing 2 mil!! Actually, the best that
we've ever done is a bit better than $495, 000 gross for the three day
event with about 100 to 150 potters showing. If you count the potter's
showing in the gallery the number of participants goes up a bit, but
nowhere near 600,

regards, Craig Martell in Oregon........wishing he was banking a chunk of
that 2 million :>)

Hello All,

It appears that my aging recollection of a conversation about Potter's Showcase is
grossly (if not "nettedly") in error. In any event, it is a show to die for: so
much good work by so many excellent potters, all in one place, with demos, music,
and brisk sales. Definitely not on the way down.

Many thanks to Craig and others for pointing out the errors. I hope that I haven't
inadvertently started a goldrush to the Great Northwet.

Roger
