I use ethylene glycol for an additive for smooth application of
decorating slips and actually use it when applying glaze through a
hyperdermic needle for a thin luster line. There is a recipe in the
archives for this. I think it uses CMC plus water and then ethylene
glycol in a minute amount to reduce bubbles.-at least that is what I use
it for.
