Several months ago I asked John Hesselberth if he would be kind enough to
suggest a book(s) teaching one about glazes. Well, he recommended a couple
and mentioned he was in the process of authoring a book with Ron Roy
pertaining to glazes. I waited. Yesterday the book arrived, and I will say
it certainly was worth the wait. It will take several readings to digest
the wealth of information enclosed. Thank you gentlemen for expanding my
education of glazes and congratulations on a fine book.

would you know the ISBN number of the book so perhaps other readers
(including me) could purchase it?

We just got a copy of the book. Great work! I had the opportunity to see
some of the glazes that John and Roy developed. They were so rich and
exquisit - really more on the order of what one would expect from a
reduction firing. I couldn't help thinking that this could dramatically
change the perception and use of electric kilns.
