Adam,
Recently, I emailed Jon White and asked for a copy of the new Fine Art
Ceramics, but have not yet received a copy. Perhaps I sent my request to
the wrong person; Jon may not have much to do with distribution.
Could you also send a copy to:
Barbara Brown
1225 Manzano way
Sunnyvale, CA 94089.
Ty(ler) Hannigan, who runs the Internet "Silverhawk" awards has agreed to
boost the new journal in his next newsletter. You can reach Ty at
silverhawk@silverhawk.com. I am sure that he would be pleased to give you a
real address to received a copy as well.

I am struggling with an article on Chris Cantello. My computer, however,
was out of commission for at least two weeks and then I caught a terrible
cold (perhaps flu?). I will try to hit the article again this weekend.
Best of luck,
Charles

I have decided to take the plunge and get a subscription of the Fine Art
Ceramics magazine. After all this is the only place which focuses on one
of the often forgotten and "dirty" aspect of ceramics, the business
one. It just never hurts to see what opinions and stories are before one
makes his/her own.
If we all wait around to see, there may not be a next issue and we loose an
interesting viewpoint. Besides, the cover price is pretty high as opposed
to the subscription and after a few issues on the side it adds up; might as
well be done with it for a year and reevaluate the whole thing then. I for
one will turn in an other subscription I feel I am outgrowing to even
things out.
Being the first issue, I suspect things may have been hectic and look at
the typos etc as something the will get ironed out as things settle. My
copy was immaculate, but then again the Chicago area is supposed to be more
civilized ;)
My 2 cents on this and my best to the magazine's team,
Fabienne http://www.milkywayceramics.com/
WARNING: I cannot be held responsible for the above
because my cats have apparently learned to type.
