The other night I was listening to the conversation of two ceramicists: a
newbie and a relatively old hand.
The newbie had just got a used Cress Kiln without full instructions. She had
fired a bisque that finished in only four hours.
"I think I didn't fire it right because usually my bisques take a lot
longer." the newbie said.
"Did anything break?" asked the old hand.
"No" the newbie replied.
"Then you fired it right." said the old hand.
