This is the one. Take the metro to Pont du Sevres (end of line on one of the lines). Go out cross the bridge over the river and the museum is on the right, Great place. Huge. It will take hours if every thing is opened.
Bon voyage!

I checked the archives and read about the museum at the Sevres Porcelain Factory. Is this the one that person may have meant? Any other hints (and directions how to get there) would be appreciated. You go Girl!

God, I would give a lot to be in Paris anytime, but going to the
Shino Show opening blew out the budget for awhile. One of my faves is the
Guimet Mus=E9e at M=E9tro I=E9na. Fantastic collection of Asian Art, picked =
by
someone who had an EYE. I have many drawings of wonderful pots from their
collections. My favorites include a Chinese goblet with a ceramic straw
which allows one to sip without getting any of the foam on top coming
through at the end. How does this work, you ask? There is a little
porcelain hen sitting over the hole at the bottom which leads to the straw
up the side. When you see the chicken's head, stop sipping! The emperors
really had it good. there are others, but I am exhausted from all the
attention I've been getting for my new
website....http://www.murrow.biz/hank. Thanks to all who responded!

Love, Hank in Eugene

Of course the "Musée de Sèvres", as told you Marcia is the temple of
ceramic.
Yvon gave you the best ceramic galleries.
You can have a look to this web-site : www.rmm.fr , where are listed a
lot of museums. May be there will be interesting exhibitions in the
Grand and Petit Palais.
Enjoy your travel
