I'm trying to find resources on methods of photocopy transfer to clay and
have had no luck. If anyone has any recommendations for books, websites, etc.
discussing this technique I would love to hear about it. Thanks!

Tammy, this topic came up not all that long ago. Check the archives. You can
try to use a product called Liquid Light. You can buy, with instructions on
how to use it, from your local photo supply store. If memory serves me
correctly, I haven't used it in better than ten years, it worked well. If
you can't find it locally just do a search of the net using Copernic (or
whatever search engine you prefer.)

I too would like to hear more about this method. I did purchase the
following books/magazines on photocopying transfer and will be trying them
in class this term. You can order your supplies (riso screen paper used with
photo copy) at www.highwaterclay.com. Their screen printing supplies are on
page 28.
Pottery in Australia, volume 40 Number 3, September 2001. It costs $18AU or
$9 US for a back copy. They have a great technical article on photocopy
transfer on pages 62-63.
Contact Trisha Dean at: pottery in Australia
for a copy.
chapter 5 of the following book: Ceramics and Print by Paul Scott.
ISBN:0713637463. I bought it at www.bigceramicstore.com or their email is:
BigCeramicStore
it costs $22.46 at BigCeramicStore, item # BKCERPRI
"Make your own ceramic Decals, Complete Handbook" by Kay Healy. It is
available at bigceramicstore and highwaterclay. This was a cheap
booklet...It cost $7 at BigCeramicStore, item # BKAMDECAL
There are two more technical books that covers "pre-xerox" method of
silkscreening.
Ceramic Screen Printing by Albert Kosloff
Teaching the Designs of Decals and Hand Painted China by George Ellwood
Kulp. (chapter 2) Amazon carries this book used. Very technical.
good luck,
Susan

Tammy,
Check out "Ceramics and Print" by Paul Scott, ISBN 0-8122-1575-3, U. of
Penn. Press. He devotes 4 pages to that technique; it looks interesting!
