Barb, I've been to the Sevres Museum. It's nice but not that great if =
you want to see real hand-crafted pottery. It is very near Versailles so =
anyone can tell you how to get there. It's been a few years since I went =
but I know I took a train and then a bus and it was about an Hour (I =
think) from the center of Paris. I had trouble finding much pottery in =
Paris but didn't have access to the internet then so good luck.

The Picasso is not to be missed. Painting and his decorated pottery, and a
great building in the heart of Paris. Rikki Gill

Did anybody mention the Musee Guimet in Paris? The Musee, not far away from
Tour Eifel, has a beautifull collection of Far Eastern Ceramics most
Chinese from Han to Ci'ing dynasty, but also some nice Japanese ( f.i.Jomon
jar), Korean, and Vietnamese ceramics. "Vaut le detour" (Worthwile to
visit). See the book about the Musee (with reproduction of all the pots) in
the collection "Oriental Ceramics" by Kodansha
