I teach physically and mentally challenged adults. We have a wonderful
time. Since it is hard to get everyone to catch an original idea at
first, I usually make up a couple of projects, set them out and then
demo part of each to get things rolling. If someone says they can't do
a shape or form I make one very carefully as they watch. Then I mush it
up and suggest they make it. They usually do and are justifiably pround
of their work. Everyone praises and encourages each other. It just
flows. After a while we are so set free that marvelous things happen. I
often wish I could get a few depressed folk in with my students. I
believe they'd be so set free that their whole lives would be
transformed. Anyway, I love it and always get recharged the Tuesdays I
teach..
