Wes asked if the Los Mimbres museum in Deming, New Mexico, is worth a =
stop if you're just passing through. Wes, there are several great =
repositories for
viewing Los Mimbres pottery, but the one I've enjoyed the most .... and =
the one that led me to a concentrated and most satisfactory study of =
what's available about them .... is the one in=20
Deming. Others may not agree, but I for one still recall the =
pleasurable couple of days we spent there .... just to see
Los Mimbres pots. We, too, were "just passing through, " so admittedly =
the element of surprise added to our delight and lingers to enhance my =
memory .... but, yes, it is worth a stop.
