Dear Clayarters,

This is to announce the Birth of a new E-Group :
http://www.nakedraku@yahoogroups.com

Intention is to create an international forum for "Naked Raku".
including "Slip-resist Raku" or "Smoked Raku".
.
Objectives are to exchange recipes, compare working methods, discuss
experiences, and create photo-albums, showing all variations and =
unexplored aspects of these
techniques, as well as building a kind of data basis on all issues =
concerned.

Mel, this is NOT meant as concurrence for Clayart, the idea is =
supplementary.
Audience for this Group is very limited and specialised, people working =
in
"naked raku" are not that widespread.
.
I have been following discussions on Clayart-site for 4 months now , it =
is
a wonderfull source of information, and I enjoyed the site's generous
attitude of helping-eachother-out-for-free, which seems to be a dying =
art
in our present society.

Looking forward to hear from any party involved in "making" of naked =
raku,
feel free to open an "Album" and upload your pictures.
All people interested, allways wellcome to join and/or have a look.

Best regards
Wally Asselberghs.
Flanders, Belgium.

If any problem reaching/entering/uploading, please contact me directly :

Click on Arts and Crafts -> Ceramics, and scroll through a bazillion headings til
you
get to "nakedraku". Or search the site for nakedraku. Lots of other interesting
sounding
groups. So much stuff, so little time!
