I can find three ways
Engob: 50 % base 50 stain cover with clear glaze.
Stain in the glaze, up to 10%.
When I made it, I remember, it has been kind of refectory, I had to
fire longer. I did not like the result.
From an article in the PMI: You can use Duncan or (any other) small
jars, and add 10% frit 3134. it works excellent cannot be better, yet
you fee "artificial".
You may cure it a bit by adding a small amount of copper
oxide/carbonate (1% or so) . You might get flashes of copper in the
reduction.
