i haven't read all of the posts on pottery movies, but i haven't seen
included the one i know. and i can't remember the name of it. i've been
waiting to post this til i could summon the name, but alas. film was made
sometime 1955-1965 by a famous japanese director (not kurosawa). on a market
day in the sixteenth century an aristocrat buys all the work of a potter (a
peasant), and she wants more. trouble ensues. good and evil and all that.
great film, and of course, plenty of pottery. anybody remember the name of
this film?
