I have noticed fairly often that folks on this List state that they are
unable to reply off-line to a poster because he or she "didn't include an
email address"--apparently in the BODY of their message.
I realize that clicking "reply" often just replies to Clayart, and not the
original poster. But that poster's "from" address *is* available in the
HEADER information of their message. It may not be automatically displayed
by your email program, but it is likely available--check out your program's
Help function (or manual).
In Eudora, for example, it's simply a matter of clicking on the message's
one-line entry in the Message Summary List, and the full message displays,
including the email address of the originator. Even more detailed header
info can be displayed by clicking Eudora's "Blah, Blah" button.
