Our Clay It Forward project is completed from the Clayart end ... books =
have been ordered. Recipients have been notified.
Please remember, if you're feeling a bit disappointed at not being =
selected to receive a book, that our Benefactor X requested that the =
recipients be chosen based on need at the moment, realizing that life =
changes and sometimes the changes have a negative financial impact. The =
books are not intended as awards for improved work, or dedication to the =
List (although one did need to be a claybud), or for good deeds, nor to =
contribute to the needs of an educational system ...... but were simply =
destined for a clayarter who could in no way afford such a purchase at =
the moment. The books will be in good hands.
Did I tell you that we actually had four applicants with serious need =
.... and a second benefactor, Y, stepped forward.
Y also wants anonymity so is sending cash so that I may purchase a book. =
We know that cash through the mails is not a good idea, but it does =
insure that Y will remain anonymous.=20
By chance, purely by chance, since I didn't know the snail mail =
addresses until after the selection, the books are traveling to widely =
spaced geographic areas.
Whichever claybud suggested "Clay It Forward," thank you. =20
