Coming back to clay after a hiatus of 20+ years - and am intrigued by
paperclay. It seems ideal for one project I have in mind, if indeed new
soft work can be added to dry work.

Has anyone experimented with once-firing it? I ran across one item in the
Clayart archive that didn't seem hopeful (on dry wares = glaze penetrates
into wall, fluxing it; on "soft leatherhard" = glazing causes pieces to slump).
