Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember an article (I think) in =
Ceramics Monthly about a "printing technique" using slip on slabs. I =
have tried to sort back through my CM files back to about 1986 or so. =
Please let me know if anyone knows of this article. I have a student =
interested in trying this technique on some of her work and would really =
appreciate some direction.

O'Brien,
There is a brief reference to Warren Mather's process for printing images on
clay in CM April '99 (pps. 14-15).
There's also a fine book "Ceramics and Print" by Paul Scott which explains
numerous printing techniques. If you buy this book, note that the 2nd
Edition was just printed in January 2002. Some booksellers may still be
selling the "old" 1st Edition.
