Hello and Kia Ora,
I have a material obtained years ago
which gives a turquoise colour, no idea of what it is and have always used it on
non domestic pots. Have been testing for leaching of the colour and using
vinegar. I think it is a fritted mix of oxides or an engobe but no way of
knowing.
Will the vinegar work?

I noticed you last post Ababi about turquoise. I
didn't get the chance to run it through calculations
but I did see the soda level was low. Why not up that
and get a more alkyline glaze base by changing spars
or frits to increase it and see how your turquoise
will look. NC-4 or Neph. Syenite might be a start?
If you make this swap let me know, I am interested in
seeing before and after pictures.
