A couple of weeks ago, I had 6 dinner plates, porcelain, notched on
the foot ring, crack through that ring to the center of the plate,
during a bisque to cone 04. Couldn't figure it out, not happened
before. Mentioned it to Ron, and he said to fire down slowly through
the quartz inversion 573 C (1063F). Got my book Mastering Glazes out
and there it was. Next firing with 7 plates, all got through with
flying colors. Thanks a bunch Ron and John.

Going to glaze and fire before NCECA.

Helen Bates my e-mail to you is still bouncing back, so I have sent
you a message using your web e-mail address. Hope it works.

Loved the lamb story. Liz in typical march windy, rainy weather,
feeling good over the success of "The Vessel" exhibition.
