Fiberglass (or other) furnace filters are cheap and readily available =
in lots of different sizes. You can size the booth according to what =
size you want to use , or conversely, fit several different sizes to =
your booth size. It will help to remove a significant amount of material =
from the exhaust air. ( overspray from spray paint too, but not the =
solvents. ) The filters need to be put upstream from the fan, so the fan =
also benefits from cleaner air.

If nothing else, a coarse weave fabric can be folded and stapled up. =
Anything is better than exhausting unfiltered air.

Don't forget to change or clean the filters to keep the spray booth =
working the way it should.

I have acquired a very old, galvanized metal spray booth in =
excellent condition. Everything works great but the blower on the top =
doesn't have a filter on it. The blower/motor assembly the following =
information on it: Tradewind by Thermador, model 6C-WP. I would =
appreciate any help or suggestions on how to obtain or fabricate a =
filter.

Thanks,
Bill Bryant

I would get some of that 1 in. thick washable filter material from
Lowes,Home Depot, or a HVAC supply house and cut to fit with shears.
