Hello everybody,
I am new to your group, but I follow the disscutions
since two years ago
What do I want:
1. A laser toner printer to print on decal paper,
either with iron toner or cobalt or other colored
toners
I found such equipments in england, US, Spain, Italy,
but at prices I cannot afford (up to $53,000 in spain)
Anywhere, i will ASAP informetion on it , especially
for Bob Hanlin and Jim Bozeman
2. When I receive in my mail the digest of the goup's
disscutions(the dayly topics) it is inactive. I saw
somewhere it was active (just click the subject). How
should I do?
Can anyone help

Hello,
1) I have been studying the art of printing on ceramics with laser
printers for many years now and the results are posted in the ClayArt
archives under my name at http://www.ceramics.org/clayart/ .
I find it interesting that you have found cobalt toners and other colors
that work on ceramics. Can you send me details?
The regular black toner in all the laser printers is about half iron oxide
and makes a sepia brown image on clay in oxidation. In reduction it is
darker almost a chocolate brown.
You can get decal paper that will go through a laser printer at
http://www.micromark.com. You can use any cheap printer .
What country are you in?
2) I think that the active links are a function of the email program you
use. In my program which is an old version of Eudora on the Mac if the
http://www.etcetc.com format appears the link is in blue and underlined and
then all I have to do is click on it and my browser starts up and goes to
that linked URL.
