Wow, Tommy! I AM impressed. I'm now up to around 1500 to 2000 pounds =
in a YEAR ...... and most of those pots go to the dump ..... too many to =
count. I find this kind of devotion and work ethic admirable. Thanks =
for sharing.

One advantage to working small... for my jewelry work, I
generally use 15-25 pounds a year... Clay goes a long way
when you're working with an amount the size of a small plum
to make an average pot, and when film canisters are your
damp boxes of choice.

I can fit a weeks work in a small coffee can, have done sawdust
firings in large coffee cans... I seldom go anywhere without a
few pieces in my pockets. I just can't imagine using even as
much as 5 pounds of clay a day.
