richard,
i never actually ended up eating one. i'd sit at the table for hours
waiting for my chance to ditch the things up under the table or sometimes
they'd end up hidden under some mashed potatos (wasn't required to eat
those). often i'd ask to be excused to go to the bathroom then stuff them
in my mouth before making a mad dash to deposit them into the veggie
repository (toilet). ah the life of growing up in the 50's.
