Exploring the surface of an interesting and varied
ceramic form is a supreme pleasure.
Yeah Vince that's cool.......So is using a material that can minick =
anything you can squeeze out of your brain....The possibilities are =
sooooo endless(don't like what you are doing now? MAKE SOMETHING ELSE =
TOMORROW!).....All you need are a few tech facts(free on CLAYART)(make =
something you DO like?...MAKE IT BETTER TOMORROW!!)...
I love it when my stuff grabs someone by the happy bone.....I don't =
know about elsewhere, but around Dallas, people sometimes faint when =
confronted by quality, genuine, effort of a craftsman/artist.....They =
soooooo seldom see anything with that spirit....It slaps them and wakes =
them up to their existance, (WOW, there are REAL things).....If done =
right will cause the public to get right on in there appreciating fine =
art before they realize it is "fine art"....They don't have to face the =
reservations about "is this art?" that they might in other =
mediums....The compensation is piss poor for doing this work but the =
market is untapped....
And now I'm reading that my work had some small part in getting =
Kimi and Diane together for a hug and lunch....No high falootin purpose; =
just two strangers got together to celebrate ceramics....And these two =
girls I know both go the extra mile.....I mean they both must be way too =
nice for their own good.....And now there was two of them in one place =
together....I bet they made the whole neighborhood beautiful...I must be =
near the right track if my work could help a good thing like that =
along....
And, how bout CLAYART?.....If I never found clay how else would I =
find so many people with the right attitude...
I also like interacting with cool art ALL the time!...The "Blues =
Bowl" I'm sluggin coffee out of this morning is a one of a kind!...I got =
got plenty one of a kind "Blues Bowls" to choose from too....I don't =
know how people live without such access to fine art....Are any of them =
happy?
The Kimi and Diane thing kinda makes me misty(I got that cat that =
ate the canary look)...
