Hi all,
I am doing some indoor shows this year and need some info. on lighting. =
I am planning on using a track light system suspended across the 10'x10' =
booth (pipe and drape) Specifically my question is what are the best =
bulbs to purchase? Wattage? Halagon? Wide angle? Narrow spots? I will =
probably only have 6 to 8 cans for now and want to get the most light I =
can out of those fixtures.
Thanks,
Ron Philbeck

Dear Ron;
You should try a variety of bulbs in your setup to be sure.
That said, I use a PAR 30 Halogen narrow flood, which has great color
rendition and a perfect beam spread at my 4' distance to the ware.
The disadvantage is that they are heavy, causing clip-on fixtures to
slip. They work better with track fixtures.

Halogens are the only way to go. You'll have maximum light with less wattage. You need a variety of bulbs. Wide angle for general lighting. Spots to highlight special pieces. I use 50 watts.
